Scotland is one of the four constituent nations of the United Kingdom, occupying the north of Great Britain, and also comprising a group of small archipelagos including the Hebrides, Orkney and Shetland.
Its capital, the financial and administrative centre, is Edinburgh, but the metropolis is Glasgow, historically the most industrial city in the country.
Scotland has a large number of different natural areas: forests, mountains, plains, peat bogs, locks, etc.
It is this diversity that made us want to go there.
